Reno-Lake Tahoe Photographer | Kendall Price Photography Blog bio picture
  • This is the page you will want to check out frequently where I will be adding new photos from the latest photo shoots and weddings. In addition to posting pictures on the blog, this is a great source for all the latest happenings and events going on! Thanks for stopping by!

I graduated from the Art Institute of Colorado in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in photography. Immediately upon graduation, I opened Kendall Price Photography and started photographing weddings and portraits. 2016 marks our TENTH year in business! I look back on these past ten years with so much gratitude. I can’t thank you enough for inviting me into your homes to photograph your new baby. For trusting me to be the only person in the room with you as you are about to walk down the aisle and say, ‘I do.’ For documenting your growing families, and the highlights of your life. I am so appreciative and I look forward to the next 10 years!

Alice in Wonderland Wedding at the Grove | Reno Wedding Photography

Alex and Kim were married a few months ago in Vietnam but wanted to have a reception with their friends and family who weren’t able to make the trip with them.  They asked me to photograph their Alice in Wonderland themed wedding reception at The Grove and take formal portraits.  What a fun day it was!  You’ll see from these photographs that these two like to have a fun time, and planned a party that all their guests would enjoy.

The details of this wedding were amazing.  The Alice in Wonderland theme was carried out in every possible way you can imagine.  Chrissy at Quality Event Design knocked it out of the park!  Here are some of my favorite photographs from the day!

All of the brooch bouquets were from Ruby Blooms on Etsy.  The details to tie in the Alice in Wonderland theme were amazing!

Kim and her bridesmaids all wore these Mad Hatter hats from ChikiBird on Etsy.  I loved them!

And the shoes came from BecciBoos Custom Shoes on Etsy.  Everything was Alice in Wonderland themed!!!

I love Alex’s reaction to seeing Kim in her wedding dress.  Kim had worn a traditional Vietnamese dress for their ceremony, and this was the first time he saw her in this dress from the Alfred Angelo’s Disney Collection.

These two just laughed and laughed!

Here you can see some of the other bouquets from Ruby Blooms

I love this shot of the guys.  They were such a blast to photograph!

Check out their pocket watches to go along with the Alice in Wonderland theme!

Here you can see more of the hats from ChikiBird.  I love the umbrellas!

Even Kim’s hair was styled with the Alice in Wonderland theme in mind….’down the rabbit hole’ from Rebecca Marquez at Salon Bobby Pin.

We stole a quick moment during family portraits to take one shot at The Grove with the crystal chandeliers and the floral backdrop made by Quality Event Design.  I love the light coming in!

And just to show how much fun these two are-here they are taking a dance break during family portraits.  That’s a first.  Love them!

You can’t have an Alice in Wonderland themed wedding without these signs from the The Stylish Scribe

Chrissy at Quality Event Design outdid herself with this place card setup.  Place cards and signage from The Stylish Scribe.

I loved the wedding favors.  A vial of tea!

One of the centerpieces in a teapot from Quality Event Design

The drapery and backdrop behind the head table at The Grove was created by Quality Event Design and Celadon Events

This dessert table was to die for.  I may have stolen a macaroon or two!  Truffle Cake from Sierra Nevada Chocolate.  Macaroon’s from Rounds Bakery.  Alice in Wonderland cake from Dee’s Bakery

Alex and Kim made sure their guests had a good time with life-size Jenga and chess!

Alex and Kim’s first dance at The Grove

I love this shot of Alex and Kim as they are about to cut their cake!
